Welcome to Photos by Vanessa, glad you stopped by for a visit.
With very little planning and the encouragement of her family and friends, Vanessa's transformation from a photo hobbyist to a part-time professional photographer was not part of a pre-planned career path. It is a constant balance of photography, teaching, and family life. As a teacher of twenty-six years in the Deer Valley District and a grandmother of eight she must balance her time. She asks her students to be live long learners, just as she is with her photography.
Vanessa's photographs have been in the Phoenix Republic in both the travel and sports section, and she is also a stock photographer for Istockphoto and Dreamstime.
